Our Friday night "kick-off" joint!
Now we know you all work as hard as we do. And like us, after a long week of hard graft, that first drink has to have the power to make all that office, studio, construction site, or plantation stress go away. Equally it should be consumed in a place where the atmosphere can compliment the magic of that first sip. So where to go for this this little bit of well deserved magic? We hear you ask. Well, for The Bemba Team there is only one place to get the weekend started. Welcome to the little jewel in the Fitzrovian Crown.....The Charlotte Street Hotel (The Oscar Bar and Restaurant to be more precise).
How we first discovered this little heaven in London's Fitzrovia district is still a mystery to us, however, thank Buddha we did. The Charlotte Street Hotel has over the last year proved to be the perfect kick off joint for us every Friday post work since it was unearthed.
Their Team - Starting with possibly the friendliest doorman in London and an ever smiling bar team make this Firmdale Hotels Group establishment well worth a visit. The selection of champagne, wine and cocktails is equally delicious and potent enough to give you that well deserved boost before hitting the town proper. Recommended drink: The Old Fashioned....it's pretty fucken awesome!
